01/20/2026 Important City Council Meeting updates:
Due to predicted inclement weather, the water department will be suspending shut offs for this month. Unpaid bills will continue to compound fees until paid.
Budget workshop is scheduled for 1/27/2026 - 5 pm and will be streamed live on youtube.

01/05/2026 New forms have been added to the departments to provide feedback on services rendered and to report information in regards to safety and code enforcement.
01/03/2026 The City of Helena-West Helena hosted at town hall at the Boys & Girls Club of Phillips Co., updates were shared with constituents, including:
- Water rate inreases- increased water and sewage rates starting this January in accordance with the water rate study. These increases help the water department qualify and cover the loans to help fix our water infrastructure. Click here to see the Amended Rate Study from 10/14/24
City's effort to re-open a shelter for animals
Code Enforcement and Community Safety tip forms have been added to the city's website
Proposal for City for Helena-West Helena App that city council will need to approve to have text, email, push button notifications about real-time alerts in the city
Street and sanitation have been working through their holiday routes, any concerns, contact the street and sanitation department or the city office
Water department is working on identifying leaks; if you have any water bill discrepancies, call their office
